Overview
A spot welding abnormal quality detection device and method are provided. The method is performed by a processor and includes the following steps: segmenting a current signal using a pressure signal to generate a plurality of current signal segments; determining whether the current signal segments are greater than a current threshold, and converting the current signal segments greater than the current threshold into corresponding frequency heat maps; utilizing an abnormality detection model to generate a reconstructed heat map, and calculating a difference between the frequency heat map and the reconstructed heat map for generating a loss value; and generating a spot welding abnormal quality signal when the loss value is greater than a threshold value.Category
