Overview
The present disclosure provides a ball tracking system and method. The ball tracking system includes a camera device and a processing device. The camera device is configured to generate a plurality of video frame data, wherein the video frame data include an image of a ball. The processing device is electrically coupled to the camera device and is configured to: recognize the image of the ball from the video frame data to obtain a two-dimensional estimated coordinate of the ball at a first frame time and utilize a two-dimensional to three-dimensional matrix to convert the two-dimensional estimated coordinate into a first three-dimensional estimated coordinate; utilize a model to calculate a second three-dimensional estimated coordinate of the ball at the first frame time; and correct according to the first three-dimensional estimated coordinate and the second three-dimensional estimated coordinate to generate a three-dimensional corrected coordinate of the ball at the first frame time.Category
