The Institute for Information Industry (III) was honored on November 27th with the prestigious 2024 "National Talent Development Award (NTDA)" organized by the Ministry of Labor. This award represents the highest honor in the field of human resources in Taiwan, recognizing organizations that excel in various aspects of their talent development systems, such as system comprehensiveness, the correspondence between talent performance and the system, and innovative advancements, etc.

With its mission to promote the development of the information industry, III has aligned itself with global and domestic industrial trends and positioned itself as a facilitator of digital transformation in recent years. It has developed models for the digital economy and talent assessment, driving research and innovation in Taiwan’s ICT industry. Internally, III established the ACE school, a digital transformation academy, to cultivate digital transformation consultants. Through various training systems, III continues to train key talented professionals across diverse fields, supporting industrial innovation and development. These achievements have garnered widespread recognition and are the primary reasons for this award.

In addition to a comprehensive talent cultivation and training system, the Institute for Information Industry (III) adopts "training and action integration" as one of its talent development strategies. For example, III systematically trains digital transformation consultants, starting with internal proof-of-concept projects and then extending support to industries, assisting Taiwan's industries in their digital transformation efforts. To effectively track talent development progress, III has also established an internal "Competency Passport" platform. This platform digitally records employees' training and hands-on experiences for specific working fields, building a complete history of their development and facilitating both their skill enhancement and career growth.

III’s President Cheng Hung Cho stated, "To nurture talent aligned with industrial needs, III has consolidated years of industrial expertise into publications, providing domestic enterprises with successful digital transformation case studies and guidance. III has also established a comprehensive management training system to strengthen organizational vitality and competitiveness. This includes industrial digital technology talent assessment and development and creating agile development platforms to enhance software quality and efficiency. Externally, III proactively cultivates industry analysts, promotes personal data protection systems, and develops talent in AI, 5G, cybersecurity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and international competencies, supporting industries in advancing towards sustainable development."
