Headquartered in Taipei since its inception, III started a presence in Southern Taiwan by opening a service center in Kaohsiung In 1986. From that beginning, the Southern Information Service Division (SID) grew into another top-tier department of III in 1996. In the past few years, SID success to assist 230 enterprises to get governmental resource which obtain over NT120,000,000. Meanwhile, SID also participates in many official conferences to enhance economic growth and leverage the capacities from incubation center of universities.
SID brings the full range of III promotional services to the vibrant community of high-technology businesses in Southern Taiwan, and also extends III resources to government and research institutions located there.
Vision:
The vision of SID is consistent with the vision and programs of III: Assisting the high-technology business communities and the government and research institutions of Southern Taiwan to fully participate with III and Taiwan's central government, to achieve a healthy geographically balanced growth of Taiwan's ICT sectors.
Mission:
The mission of SID is to fully engage the high-technology community of Southern Taiwan in the programs of III and the government, to reinforce and accelerate development of information based society in any areas or aspects where Southern Taiwan might have a need of such reinforcement in order to achieve geographically balanced development of the information society in Taiwan.
(1) III South Contact: To execute the mission of promoting the ICT industry and work closely with government, academia, research institute, industry and associations.
(2) Conducting relative matters organizations from headquarter; Interacting with enterprises, government, academy and research department to provide guidance and relevant information.
(3) Providing consulting service to assist enterprise to get governmental commission project application; Coordinating with relevant financial institutions or specific funds to provide financial assistance. |
